Born in Guadalajara, Mexico, Paul is a dual US/Mexican citizen and is bilingual in Spanish & English. He comes from a long line of public servants and his great-grandfather was a signer of the Mexican Constitution. Paul operated his own graphic design company for many years, and is an accomplished and award-winning fine artist - painting in the Latin American style of Magic Realism. Paul is an avid tennis player and former competitive surfer, and often travels to the tropics to indulge in his lifelong surfing passion. He is a Certified Hospice Volunteer with Odyssey Hospice, and attends to local patients regularly. He is also the proud father of three beautiful children.
